Kuripuni Social Housing_

Eight new social housing units having recently been constructed using CLT panels in the Wairarapa.

The low cost, prefabricated solution allowed the units to go up quickly while also significantly minimising any disruption to neighbours compared to conventional construction methods.

An insulated panel enabled the structure to be clad quickly while providing thermal efficiencies. This project acted as a prototype and has led to an agreement to build a further 200 units in the region.
